2.02.010 - Meeting time and place.

Except as otherwise provided by formal action of the board of supervisors, the board of supervisors shall meet each Tuesday at the hour of nine a.m. in the board of supervisors chambers located in the Tehama County Administration Building at 727 Oak Street, Red Bluff, California. Any closed session shall be held at the end of the meeting agenda, except as provided by formal action of the board of supervisors.

2.02.020 - Compensation generally—Benefits.

A. Each member of the county board of supervisors shall receive as and for salary that sum established by the County Charter.

B. Commencing September 1, 2009, each member of the county board of supervisors shall receive as and for a remote communications allowance the sum of one hundred dollars per month.

C. Each member of the county board of supervisors shall receive as and for an automobile allowance the sum of five hundred dollars per month.

D. The county will contribute forty-five dollars per month to the deferred compensation account of each supervisor and, in addition, the county will pay the employee's share of contributions to the public employees' retirement system (PERS).

E. Members of the board of supervisors are eligible to participate in the county medical, dental, life and vision plans on the same basis as are the other elected officials.
