2.14.010 - Designation of office—Duties.

A. The welfare fraud investigators employed by the district attorney's office pursuant to the contract executed on August 26, 1985 and renewed annually, between the county welfare department and the county district attorney's office, are designated as peace officers pursuant to the provisions contained in Section 830.1 of the California Penal Code. The duties of the welfare fraud investigators shall relate solely to welfare fraud investigation.
