36-010 - OFFICE ESTABLISHED

There is hereby established the office of Public Defender for the County of Sutter.

36-020 - APPOINTMENT—TERM

The Public Defender shall be appointed by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Sutter to serve at its will.

36-030 - DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of the Public Defender shall be those defined and enumerationed in Sections 27700 to 27711, inclusive of the Government Code of the State of California.
