Sutter County Municipal Code Ch. 81 Veterans Memorial Community Building

That building owned by Sutter County located near the intersection of Civil Center Boulevard and Butte House Road, Yuba City, California, and completed in 1979 is hereby designated the Veterans Memorial Community Building.

Pursuant to the authority contained in Sections 1262 and 1264 of the California Military and Veterans Code, the County of Sutter desires to make the above designated Veterans Memorial Community Building and its facilities available to qualified veterans organizations. The County of Sutter wishes to ensure veteran use as well as provide for other compatible uses by persons or organizations other than veterans. Accordingly, qualified veterans organizations shall be entitled to first priority of use pursuant to the scheduling provisions set out in Section 81-030.

Qualified veterans organizations shall be entitled to priority use of the Veterans Memorial Community Building on the basis of annual schedules submitted to the Sutter County Board of Supervisors for approval by September 1 for each following calendar year.

Regulation of the utilization of the Veterans Memorial Community Building by both Veterans organizations and persons and organizations other than Veterans, shall be pursuant to regulations adopted, from time to time, by the Sutter County Board of Supervisors by resolution, and in the case of the Veterans organizations, a future lease to be entered into with the County following approval of the subject lease by the federal government.
