Sutter County Municipal Code Ch. 32 County Clerk—recorder

The duties of the County Clerk of the County of Sutter and the duties of the County Recorder of the County of Sutter are hereby consolidated in that person who is elected or appointed to said consolidated position and, said elected or appointed person shall take the oath and give the bond required by law for each of said offices.

The person filling the consolidated position of County Clerk-Recorder shall receive the salary for said position as the same is set forth in the salary code of the County of Sutter.

The foregoing provisions of this Chapter shall become effective on January 7, 1963 at 12:00 o'clock noon.

If any section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Chapter is reasonably separable from the remaining portion of this Chapter is, for any reason, to be held invalid or unconstitutional such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of the remaining portions of this Chapter, it being herein expressly declared that this Chapter and each section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause and phrase thereof would have to be adopted irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses and phrases be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
