Sec. 2-71. - Disposition of perishable, dangerous, etc., property.

Any unclaimed personal property subject to the provisions of this division which is perishable, dangerous in itself, or contrary to public policy to retain or sell shall not be subject to sale under this division and shall be disposed of in such manner as the law shall direct or the sheriff may deem in the public interest.
