Sec. 2-65. - Redemption by owner prior to sale.

Any property subject to the provisions of this division which is claimed by its legal owner prior to sale shall upon proof of ownership satisfactory to the sheriff and upon payment to the sheriff of all reasonable costs of care and protection thereof and execution and delivery of a found property release receipt be returned to such legal owner.
