PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION

2.08.3800 Commission established.

The parks and recreation commission is hereby created.

2.08.3810 Number of members.

The commission shall consist of eleven members.

2.08.3815 Appointment process.

All members of the parks and recreation commission shall be appointed in accordance with the provisions of Section 2.08.180.

2.08.3820 Functions, powers, and duties.

The commission shall have the following functions, powers, and duties:

Study, review, evaluate and make recommendations to the council, city manager and other department heads respecting existing and/or proposed parks, recreation, and community services, facilities and programs; their use and operation; the extent and nature of the services to be rendered to the public; the financing of parks, recreation, and community service facilities and their operations and
