SEC. 5.13-1. REAL ESTATE FRAUD PROSECUTION TRUST FUND COUNCIL.¶
There is hereby established a Real Estate Fraud Prosecution Trust Fund Council (“Council”) consistent with Section 8.24-5 of this Code. The Council shall be an Advisory Body as defined in Section 5.1-1, and shall be composed of the District Attorney, City Administrator, and City Attorney, each of whom may appoint an appropriate representative to serve on the Council. The Council shall review applications and make determinations by majority vote as to the award of funds in the Real Estate Fraud Prosecution Trust Fund using the procedures and criteria required by Section 27388 of the California Government Code. The Council shall meet only when the District Attorney calls a meeting to reevaluate the current funding allocation between the Assessor-Recorder, District Attorney, and Police Department.
