J109.5 Surface Drainage. All areas which are surfaced with asphalt, concrete or other paving of similar imperviousness, and which exceed a total

area of 200 square feet (18.58 m [2] ), shall have storm- and casual water drained directly to a public sewer or storm drain.

Drainage shall not be directed to flow onto adjacent property or to drain onto public sidewalks. See Section 1502.1 for roof drainage.
