103.7 Modifications.

103.7 Modifications. When there are practical difficulties involved in carrying out the provisions of this code, the Authority Having Jurisdiction may grant modifications for individual cases. The Authority Having Jurisdiction shall first find that a special individual reason makes the strict letter of this code impractical and that the modification is in conformance with the intent and purpose of this code and that such modification does not lessen the standard of this code to safeguard life or limb, health, property, or public welfare. The details of any action granting modifications shall be recorded a nd entered in the files of the Department of Building Inspection.
