7-9: ADOPTION:

Adoption of the 2025 Edition of the California Electrical Code Title 24 Part 3.

A. That certain code in book form to which more particular reference is hereinafter made, regulating the business of electrical, and the installation of electrical fixtures and appliances, to be known and referred to as the California Electrical Code, is hereby adopted and enacted by the Council of the City of Porterville as an ordinance of the City of Porterville, to all intents and purposes and to the same effect as if each and every sentence, comma, paragraph, word, phrase, and clause in said code mentioned or referred to therein or herein were and each thereof was fully and specifically set forth herein.

B. Reference is hereby made to one (1) copy of the 2025 Edition of the California Electrical Code, published by BNi Publications, Inc. filed in the office of the Building Official of the City of Porterville, and such code, to wit: the 2025 Edition of the California Electrical Code published by the BNi Publications, Inc., as aforesaid now on file with the Building Official of the City of Porterville, is hereby adopted by reference as the Electrical Code of the City. 7-9.1: SEVERABILITY:

If any provision of this article or the application thereof to any person or circumstance is held invalid, that invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of this article that can be given effect without the invalid provision of application, and to this end the provisions of this article are severable. 7-11: PERMIT FEES:
