Sec. 10.04.010. - Definitions generally.

Whenever in this title (with the exception of sections 10.24.010, 10.24.020, 10.36.020, 10.36.030 and chapters 10.40 and 10.44), the following terms are used, they shall have the meanings respectively, ascribed to them in this chapter.

Sec. 10.04.060. - Loading zone.

The term "loading zone" means that space adjacent to a curb reserved for the exclusive use of vehicles during the loading or unloading of passengers or materials.

The term "operator" means any person who is in actual physical control of a vehicle.

Sec. 10.04.090. - Passenger zone.

The term "passenger zone" means that space adjacent to a curb reserved for the exclusive use of vehicles during the loading or unloading of passengers.

Sec. 10.04.140. - Truck zone.

The term "truck zone" means that space adjacent to a curb reserved for the exclusive use of trucks during the loading and unloading of materials and produce. The term "truck" is defined, for the purpose of this title (with the exception of sections 10.24.010, 10.24.020, 10.36.020, 10.36.030 and chapters 10.40 and 10.44), as a motor vehicle having a body primarily designed for the transportation of produce and materials.
