2.40.010 - Relocation agency established.¶
A relocation agency is established in this chapter to provide relocation assistance to those persons entitled thereto under the provisions of state or federal law, and under such relocation assistance guidelines as may hereafter be adopted or amended from time to time by the city council of the city.

2.40.020 - Coordination of relocation activities.¶
The relocation agency shall act as a central relocation agency within the meaning of Government Code Section 7261.6 to coordinate all relocation activities within the jurisdiction of the city.

2.40.030 - Contracts with other public agencies.¶
Subject to the approval of the city council, the relocation agency of the city may contract with other public agencies to provide or administer relocation assistance for such other public agencies.

2.40.040 - Adoption of guidelines.¶
The city council, by ordinance or resolution, may adopt and from time to time amend local guidelines for the providing of relocation assistance.
