2.20.010 - Office created.

The office of city finance director of the city is created and established. The city finance director shall be appointed by the city council on the basis of his/her executive and administrative qualifications and ability and shall hold office at and during the pleasure of the city council.

2.20.020 - Duties generally.

The finance director shall be the chief financial officer for the city. Under the general direction of the city manager, the finance director shall prepare the city's financial reports, monitor city expenditures, assist in budget preparations, supervise the city's other financial staff and carry out any other duties as assigned.

2.20.030 - Salary.

The finance director of the city shall receive a salary from the city as set by the city council for his/her duties as city finance director.
