Sec. 2.68.010 - Request to Appoint Directors.

Pursuant to Section 9314 of the Public Resources Code, the Directors of the Mendocino County Resource Conservation District submitted a resolution to the Board of Supervisors requesting that the Directors be appointed in lieu of an election.

Sec. 2.68.020 - Notice of Vacancy.

The Board of Supervisors has accepted the resolution from the District, posted notices of vacancy pursuant to Section 54974 of the Government Code and accepted applications from eligible persons residing within the District.

Sec. 2.68.030 - Appointment of Directors.

(A) The Board of Supervisors hereby appoints the following persons as Directors of the Mendocino County Resource Conservation District to four-year terms expiring December 1, 2000:

(1) William T. Johnson; and

(2) John Thomas.

(B) The appointments of Craig Blencowe, Mike Boer, and Laurie Wayburn appointed March 14, 1995 by Ordinance 3905, expire December 1, 1998.
