6.88.015 - Payments for veteran burial escorts.¶
Persons employed under Item No. 9349 (Veteran Burial Escort, NC) shall be paid $1.00 at the end of each calendar year in which they have been employed any fraction thereof. The limitations of Sections 6.16.010 and 6.18.110 of this code do not apply insofar as work under this item is concerned.

6.88.020 - Veterans' advisory commission.¶
Each member of the veterans' advisory commission (Item No. 9434) shall receive as compensation the sum of $25.00 for each meeting of the commission attended by him, not to exceed 14 meetings per year.
