Each member of the regional planning commission (Item No. 9428) shall be entitled to receive compensation at the rate of $150.00 per day for each day he:

A.

Attends a meeting or a field trip of the commission, not to exceed 15 meetings and field trips per calendar month.

B.

Attends a meeting of the zoning board as a member of such board; or

C.

Attends a meeting of the airport land use subcommittee as the chairperson.

A.

Effective December 1, 2007, any person who is employed on a permanent, full-time position designated as "A" Monthly Permanent who possesses a current American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification issued by the American Institute of Certified Planners will receive a bonus of eleven (11) standard salary levels (approximately 2.75%) or 2.75% for Management Appraisal and Performance Plan (MAPP) participants. This provision shall apply to only those persons who have received a current performance evaluation of "Competent" or "Met Expectations" or better. Any such compensation shall not constitute a base rate.

B.

Effective with the pay period ending April 15, 2012 and upon notification to the board of supervisors by the chief executive officer that the human resources management system implementing this provision is fully operational, all provisions in Section 6.112.030, subsection A shall remain in effect except that such persons compensated pursuant to Chapter 6.08, Part 1 of this Title 6 and who meet the aforementioned requirements will receive a bonus of 2.7846 percent. Any such compensation shall not constitute a base rate.
