2.52.010 Date

The general municipal election of the city shall be held on the same date as the state wide general election in even numbered years beginning with the year 1982.

2.52.020 Offices Elected

The election shall be for city councilmen, city clerk and city treasurer, and the councilmen, city clerk and city treasurer shall hold office for four years from the Tuesday succeeding their election.

2.52.030 Continuation Of Terms

Those elected city officers for four-year terms of office who would have, prior to the adoption of the ordinance codified in this chapter, expired on the Tuesday succeeding the second Tuesday of April of 1982 shall, instead, continue in their offices until no later than the fourth Tuesday after the day of the general municipal election.
