uses is encouraged within the Village Commercial Zone. On
any parcel within the Village Commercial Zone, the mixing of
residential and nonresidential uses as outlined above under
“Permitted Uses” shall be permitted by right subject to the
following requirements:
a. All residential components of a mixed use project shall
be located either above at least one story of a
nonresidential use or to the rear of a nonresidential use
building; residential uses shall not be permitted on the
ground floor unless they are located behind a
nonresidential use.
