31-30 MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS.

31-30.1 Ponding Areas; When Permitted.

Disposal of storm water drainage by means of ponding areas may be permitted only with the approval of the Engineering Department, after study of the proposed disposal basin topography and soil characteristics and only where no other reasonable method of disposal is feasible.

31-30.2 Subdrainage; Where Required.

Subdrain facilities shall be provided where specified by the soil engineer controlling the work and other areas where deemed necessary by the Town to prevent sliding or settlement of the earth surface. Facilities will be required to convey the subdrainage to an approved point of discharge.
