31-23 SURVEY MONUMENTS.

31-23.1 Conformance to Approved Standards.

The subdivider shall construct permanent survey monuments at the locations specified on the filed subdivision map. The

monuments and appurtenances shall conform to approved standards and details prescribed by the Engineering Department.

31-23.2 Allowable Error.

The allowable field survey error shall not exceed one (1) part in five thousand (5,000) in distance, or thirty (30) seconds in angular measurement.

31-23.3 Establishment of Survey Measurements.

Establishment of all survey measurements shall be certified to in writing by the engineer to the Engineering Department prior to acceptance of street improvements.

31-23.4 Drainage Easements.

Along all portions of natural channels or watercourses within or bordering upon the subdivision, all angle points and intersections at lot lines or drainage easements shall be marked on the ground in such a manner as to be readily identified on visual inspection as those which appear upon the final map or parcel map.
