2.40.010 - Established.

There is established an advisory safety council to serve without compensation, consisting of the chief of police or in his discretion a representative of the police department, a member of the city council and such number of other city officers and representatives of unofficial bodies as may be determined and appointed by the safety council and may be removed by them.

2.40.020 - Duties.

It shall be the duty of the safety council to receive complaints having to do with traffic matters, and to recommend to the city council and to the chief of police and other city officials ways and means for improving traffic conditions.
