15.22.010 - Adopted.

A certain document, a copy of which is on file in the office of the city clerk, being marked and designated as Uniform Fire Code, Volume 1 and 2, 1997 Edition, published by the International Fire Code Institute is referred to and adopted.

15.22.020 - Time limits established.

The time limits established in Section 82.105 (a) of the Uniform Fire Code, 1991 Edition, are established and adopted by reference as though fully set forth, for the parking and storage of liquefied petroleum gas or any hazardous material in railroad tank cars parked within the city limits of the city.

15.22.022 - Parking in excess of one hour prohibited.

It is unlawful to park any railroad tank cars containing liquefied petroleum gas or any hazardous material on the Southern Pacific railroad line or tracks within the city limits of the city for a period of more than one hour. The appropriate city department shall post the railroad line with appropriate signs prohibiting the parking of these cars and tankers as per this section.

15.22.024 - Violation deemed a misdemeanor.

Any violation of Sections 15.20.020 and 15.20.022 shall be deemed misdemeanors and shall be punishable by a fine of one thousand dollars and/or six months in jail or both. Each separate incident shall be deemed an additional violation of this section. Any railroad car or tanker not moved within the one-hour period permitted under these sections and which is cited a subsequent time, such subsequent citation shall be deemed a separate and distinct violation of this chapter.
