Calexico Municipal Code Ch. 15.12 Uniform Plumbing Code

A certain document, one copy of which is on file in the office of the city clerk, being marked and designated as Uniform Plumbing Code, 1997 Edition, and the state of California amendments, published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, is referred to and adopted.

Amendments to the Uniform Plumbing Code, 1994 Edition, may hereafter be adopted by resolution of the city council.

Notwithstanding any other provisions of this code, the Uniform Plumbing Code, or any other ordinance, all private sewer laterals from the property line to a building or other structure shall be made by the property owner at the property owner's sole cost and expense, and connections to the city sewer system shall be made by the city from the property line to the sewer and shall be the city's cost and expense.
