2.22.010 - Department established.¶
There is established in this city a department of building inspection. The city council shall budget and appropriate such funds for this department as it may deem appropriate.

2.22.020 - Building official.¶
The office of building official is established. The building official shall be appointed in accordance with the personnel rules of the city. He shall have charge of enforcing Title 15 of the Willits Municipal Code, all uniform codes adopted by reference pursuant to Title 15, and all other ordinances and laws pertaining to building inspection and code enforcement. He shall have such other duties and functions as are delegated to him by the city administrator or are established by the city council.
