Sec. 901.8.3 Fire hydrants and fire appliances. Commercial fire sprinkler system control¶

valves shall not be shut off after activation of the sprinkler system, no matter what the reason for the activation until the shut off is authorized by fire personnel. Fire detection systems activated by fire, smoke, heat, or any other cause shall not be reset until authorized by fire personnel.
