Editor's note— Ord. No. 1983, §§ 7, 8, adopted Dec. 3, 2013, amended Ch. 2.34 in its entirety to read as herein set out. Former Ch. 2.34, §§ 2.34.010—2.34.030, pertained to Camp Committee, and derived from Ord. 158, §§ 1—3, 5, adopted 1953.

The Tehama County Camp committee is hereby renamed and designated as the Camp Tehama Committee and is continued in existence under its new name. The Committee shall, subject to the supervision and direction of the board of supervisors of the county, operate, conduct and manage Camp Tehama located at 40550 Hwy 172, Mill Creek, California.

The Camp Tehama Committee shall adopt by laws to govern their procedures, which bylaws shall be subject to approval of the board of supervisors of the county.

(a) There shall be eight members of the Camp Tehama Committee and the terms of office of each member shall be three years.

(b) Upon the expiration of the term of any member of the Committee or his disqualification, resignation or failure to serve, the board of supervisors of the county shall, by appointment, fill the vacancy so created.

(c) Members of the Camp Tehama Committee shall serve without compensation.

The Committee shall deposit in the County Treasury all funds received by them in their official capacity, including without limitation funds derived from the use of camp facilities and funds donated to the County for the benefit of the camp.
