2.25.010 - Creation.¶
There is hereby created the Tehama County Parks Commission, which shall advise the Board of Supervisors regarding the operation, conduct, and management of the Tehama County parks.

2.25.020 - Membership.¶
(a) The Commission shall consist of the members set forth in subdivisions (b) and (c), who shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors.
(b) The members shall be appointed as follows:
(i) One member shall represent the users of Cone Grove Park, located at 24280 Cone Grove Road, Red Bluff, California.
(ii) One member shall represent the users of Mill Creek Park, located at 24670 Tehama-Vina Road, Los Molinos, California.
(iii) One member shall represent the users of Ridgeway Park, located at 19725 Ridge Road, Red Bluff, California.
(iv) One member shall represent the users of River Park, located at 25340 South Avenue, Corning, California.
(v) One member shall represent the users of Simpson Finnell Park, located at 13340 Round Valley Road, Paskenta, California.
(vi) One member shall represent the users of Noland Park, located at 19001 Bowman Road, Cottonwood, California.
(vii) One member shall represent the users of Camp Tehama, located at 40550 Hwy 172, Mill Creek, California.
(viii) One member shall represent the users of Gerber Park, located at 520 Mariposa Avenue, Gerber, California.
(c) In the event that the Board of Supervisors dedicates any new County park and opens the park for public use in accordance with state law, there shall be added to the Tehama County Parks Commission one additional member representing the users of the new park.
(d) The term of office of each Commissioner shall be four years, except that the initial members appointed to the Commission shall classify themselves by lot, with two members serving a term of one year, two members serving a term of two years, two members serving a term of three years, and two members for a term of four years, so that the Commissioners' terms are evenly staggered. Thereafter all members shall be appointed for the full term of four years, subject to subdivision (a).
(e) In the event that ownership and control of any County park is transferred to another public entity in accordance with state law, or that any County park is closed in accordance with state law, then the Commission shall no longer include a member representing the users of that park. The term of office of any member previously appointed to represent such users shall automatically end upon the effective date of the transfer or closure.

2.25.030 - Bylaws and service without compensation.¶
The Commission shall, subject to the approval of the Board of Supervisors, adopt their own bylaws, rules of order and select their own officers. The Commission shall serve without compensation.

2.25.040 - Meetings.¶
The Commission shall hold at least one meeting in every ninety-day period.

2.25.050 - Deposit of Funds.¶
The Commission shall deposit in the County Treasury all funds received by them in their official capacity, including without limitation funds derived from the use of park facilities and funds donated to the County for the benefit of any park.
