2.10.010 - Office created.

The board of supervisors is authorized to create the office of county public defender. The public defender shall perform the duties required by law.

2.10.020 - Appointment of office.

The board of supervisors pursuant to provisions of the county Charter shall appoint a public defender, fix qualifications, compensation, term of office, and other working conditions for the position.
