2.24.010 District Attorney-Public Administrator consolidated.

Pursuant to Cal. Gov’t. Code § 24304, the offices and duties of the District Attorney and Public Administrator are consolidated. 2.24.015 District Attorney-Public Administrator – Elections.

A. Under the authority of Cal. Elec. Code § 1300, the election to select the consolidated office of District Attorney-Public Administrator shall be held with the presidential primary.

B. The District Attorney-Public Administrator elected in 2022 shall serve a six-year term and the next election for that office shall occur at the 2028 presidential primary. (Ord. 1135 § 4, eff. 4/17/25)

2.24.020 Private practice prohibited.
