§ 13.11 AUTHORITY TO REMOVE VEHICLES LEFT STANDING MORE THAN 72 HOURS.

Any regularly employed and salaried office of the Department may remove a vehicle left standing for more than 72 consecutive hours, when the vehicle is in violation of any city ordinance regulating vehicular parking upon any street, alley or public way of whatever kind.

§ 13.14 PARKING FOR REPAIRS.

No vehicle undergoing repairs or which has been partially dismantled shall be left standing or stopped on any street, alley or public way of whatever kind or description during the hours between sundown and sunup next following.

§ 13.15 PARKING IN ALLEYS GENERALLY.

No vehicle shall be stopped or left standing in any alley in a manner as to obstruct the free and uninterrupted ease of the alley.

§ 13.16 STOPPING IN SPECIFIED ALLEYS; AUTHORITY OF COUNCIL.

No vehicle shall be stopped or left standing at any time in any of the hereinafter described alleys, except only when operation of loading or unloading the same is actually in progress and the vehicle is attended at all times during the loading and unloading:

(A) The alley between and parallel to Main and Rio Streets, from Elm Street northerly to hickory Street;

(B) The alley between and parallel to Washington and Main Streets, from Sycamore Street northerly to Union Street;

(C) The alley between and parallel to Jefferson and Washington Streets, from Pine Street northerly to Hickory Street;

(D) The alley between and parallel to Madison and Jefferson Streets, from Pine Street northerly to Hickory Street;

(E) When public necessity, convenience and safety require it the City Council may, by resolution, designate any alley in the city as one in which vehicles shall not be stopped or left standing, except only when the operation of loading or unloading the same is actually in progress and the vehicle is attended at all times during the loading and unloading;

(F) Whenever an alley is designated as one on which vehicles shall not be stopped or left standing as herein provided, whether by the specific terms of this section or by resolution of the City Council, it shall be the duty of the Chief of Police to procure and cause to be erected at each entrance to any alley, appropriate signs indicating that it is an alley on which vehicles may not be stopped or left standing as provided in this section or resolution.

§ 13.17 OBSTRUCTING DRIVEWAYS AND THE LIKE.

No vehicle shall be parked or left standing in a manner as to obstruct the free passage to and from a private driveway or the free and uninterrupted use of any sidewalk or crosswalk.

§ 13.18 PARKING NEAR INTERSECTIONS.

No vehicle shall be parked or left standing within five feet of any intersection of streets nor within five feet of any intersection of an alley and a street, computing the distance from the extended property line, except as in this article otherwise specifically provided.

§ 13.19 ANGLE PARKING ON PUBLIC STREETS.

(A) The city will by ordinance designate parts of the public streets as angle parking. Parking spaces shall be marked accordingly and each vehicle shall be parked within the lines of parking so established with the front bumper not more than 18 inches from the curb at its closest point. Vehicles exceeding 20 feet in overall length shall not park in angle parking spaces.

(B) The following are locations where angle parking is permitted:

Elm Street The north side of the 200, 300, 400 and 500 blocks of Elm Street
Grant Street The west side of the 1300 block of Grant Street
Hickory Street The north side of the 200, 300, 400 and 500 blocks of Hickory Street
Jefferson Street West side of the 400 and 500 blocks of Jefferson Street
Jefferson Street The northerly 160 feet of the east side of the 700 block of Jefferson Street
Jefferson Street The east side of the 800 block of Jefferson Street
Madison Street The east side of the 800 block of Madison Street
Pine Street The middle island of the 200, 300, 400 and 500 blocks of Pine Street
Pine Street The north side of the 800 block of Pine Street beginning at Jackson Street and extending westerly 115 to the alley
Rio Street The west side of the 800 block of Rio Street from Hickory Street to the exit of Lot A
River Park Way The south side of River Park Way from Main Street to Riverside Way
Riverside Way The east side of Riverside Way from River Park Way to Willow Street
Riverside Way The east side of Riverside Way from Willow Street to Ash Street
Sycamore Street The south side of the 100 block and the 200 block east of the alley of Sycamore Street
Washington Street The east side of the 400 block of Washington Street
Washington Street The southerly 250 feet of the west side of the 700 block of Washington Street excluding crosswalk area
Washington Street The west side of the 800 block of Washington Street
