Sec. 6.110. - Adoption by reference.¶
(a) The Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code hereinafter referred to is the 2024 edition published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO). One (1) copy shall be kept on file in the office of the city clerk.
(b) All mandatory provisions of the 2024 Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code, including any provisions hereinafter added, deleted, or amended, are hereby adopted by reference and shall constitute the Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code of the City of Oceanside, establishing local rules and regulations covering the subject and matters therein referred to.
Section 301. General.
The design and construction of pools and spas shall comply with the 2024 Uniform Swimming Pool, Spa and Hot Tub Code, the 2025 California Plumbing Code, 2025 California Mechanical Code, the 2025 California Electrical Code, the 2025 California Energy Code and Appendix of the SWIMMING POOL SAFETY ACT.
