SEC. 2.88. - Authorization for zoning inspectors and building inspectors and certain…¶
Those employees of the city, including, but not limited to, the building inspectors and the zoning inspectors, and certain other employees designated by the city manager, who have the duty of enforcing the Mountain View City Code and state and federal laws pertaining to public safety, health, and welfare, are hereby authorized, in accordance with and pursuant to California Penal Code Sections 836.5, 853.6, and 853.5 to arrest persons for violations of such ordinances, statutes, laws, or codes and issue Notice to Appear citations as provided by law.
