SEC. 2.87. - Specified departments of the city.

In addition to the offices of city manager, city attorney, and city clerk, already established in the City Charter, and the police department, already created by City Code Section 2.66, the City of Mountain View shall have the following departments:

  1. Fire

  2. Public Works

  3. Maintenance

  4. Planning

  5. Recreation

  6. Library

  7. Finance

The city council shall, from time to time, provide by ordinance or resolution for divisions, offices and/or agencies within such departments.
