Mountain View Municipal Code Art. V Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund

To comply with the provisions of Article 5 of Chapter 1 of Division 1 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State, as amended, there is hereby created in the city treasury a special fund to be known as "Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund."

All moneys received from the state under the provisions of the California Streets and Highways Code of the state for the use of this city in the acquisition of real property or interests therein, the construction, improvement or maintenance of streets and highways other than state highways, and transit facilities shall be paid into such fund.

All moneys in the fund created by Sec. 2.70 shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to the provisions of Article 5, Chapter 1 , Division 1 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State, as amended.
