2.44.010 - Purpose.¶
The town council declares its desire to qualify to receive aid from the state of California under Chapter 1, Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code (beginning with Section 13500).

2.44.020 - Training standards.¶
Under Section 13522 of the California Penal Code, the town while receiving aid from the state of California will adhere to the standards of recruitment and training established by the State Commission on Peace Officers' Standards and Training.
