8.20.010 - Requirement of ignition key removal.¶
No person driving or in charge of a motor vehicle shall permit it to stand unattended without first locking the ignition and removing the ignition key from the vehicle.

8.20.020 - Removal of ignition key by police officer.¶
Whenever any police officer or other traffic regulator finds a motor vehicle standing unattended with the ignition key in the vehicle, they are authorized to remove such key from such vehicle and to deliver the key to the Police Department.

8.20.030 - Registered owner responsible.¶
The registered owner of a vehicle found to be in violation of any of the provisions of this chapter shall be held responsible for such violation.
