8.08.010 - Authority to install.

California Vehicle Code Section 21351 authorizes local authorities to place and maintain traffic-control devices, including signals, signs and markings, including lane markings. The City Engineer shall have the power and duty to place and maintain, or cause to be placed and maintained, such traffic-control devices when and as required by the traffic laws of the City to make effective the provisions of such laws.
