4.04.010 - Consolidation of districts-Map.¶
There is created in the county a judicial district, the boundaries of which are coextensive with the boundaries of Modoc County. The creation of the district effects a consolidation of the Modoc Judicial District and the Surprise Valley Judicial District. A map designating the boundaries of the component districts and the consolidated district is on file in the office of the county clerk, and is incorporated in this section by reference.

4.04.020 - Modoc Judicial District created.¶
The judicial district created by Section 4.04.010 shall be known as the "Modoc Judicial District."

4.04.030 - Places where court sessions held.¶
Pursuant to the requirements of Section 71341 of the Government Code of the state, the board of supervisors does hereby designate the towns of Adin and Newell and the city of Alturas as the places within the Modoc Judicial District where sessions of the justice court shall be held.

4.04.040 - Contested cases-Fee for reporting testimony and proceedings.¶
Pursuant to California Government Code Section 69948.5, the fee for reporting testimony and proceedings in contested cases shall be as provided in the Modoc County Trial Courts Local Rules of Court.

4.04.050 - Grand jurors and trial jurors-Compensation.¶
A. Grand jurors in the superior court shall receive ten dollars for each day's attendance in court, upon regularly called jury meetings, plus travel compensation of twenty-one cents per mile, round trip, from their residences to the court.
B. Trial jurors in the superior and justice courts shall receive ten dollars for each day's attendance, and travel compensation of twenty-one cents per mile, round trip, from their residences to the court.
