§ 2.52.010. Officers designated.

The government of the City shall be vested in the following officials:

A. Mayor and City Council members; B City Manager;

C. City Clerk;

D. City Treasurer;

E. Chief of Police;

F. The heads of each City department as contained in the organization chart prepared by the City Manager and submitted to the City Council pursuant to Section 2.04.050.

§ 2.52.020. Consolidation of offices.

The City Council, may by resolution, consolidate any two or more appointive offices and require one officer to perform the duties of such offices.

§ 2.52.030. Duties generally.

A. All officials of the City shall perform such duties as are enjoined upon them by any portion of this Code or by any ordinance or resolution of the City or by the general laws of the State.

B. In addition thereto, specific duties are enjoined upon the officials designated in Chapters 2.04, 2.12 and 2.20.
