§ 9-90.010. Zoning plan adopted.

The zoning plan consists of a zoning map and the text of this zoning and development code that defines intensities and densities of use as well as standards applicable to certain uses. (Prior code § 9-06.010; Ord. 98-8 § 2 (part))

§ 9-90.020. Permitted amendments.

Amendments to the zoning plan may be either textual changes or map changes or a combination of both. (Prior code § 9-06.020; Ord. 98-8 § 2 (part))

§ 9-90.030. Legislative act.

Adoption and amendment of any part of the zoning plan is a legislative act. (Prior code § 9-06.030; Ord. 98-8 § 2 (part))

§ 9-90.040. Application required.

Persons, agencies, special districts, or governmental entities seeking to amend the map or text must file an application with the Planning Department. The application shall be submitted on forms and in substantial compliance with administrative procedures provided by the department. A fee, as prescribed by City Council resolution, shall accompany the application.

§ 9-90.050. Ordinance required.

The City Council shall approve all zoning plan amendments by ordinance. (Prior code § 9-06.050; Ord. 98-8 § 2 (part))

§ 9-90.060. Hearing required.

Amendments shall be considered and may be approved, denied, or modified by the City Council sitting in public hearing for that purpose. (Prior code § 9-06.060; Ord. 98-8 § 2 (part))
