Length and Width Restrictions on a Portion of Davison Road. Pursuant to § 21101(c) of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, no vehicle or combination of vehicles having a body width greater than eight feet (8') and a body length greater than twenty-four feet (24'), except road maintenance vehicles and emergency vehicles, shall be allowed to use the following described portion of Davison Road (County Road No. 4R400) in the Orick area: 9Ord. (Ord. 1858, § 1, 3/28/89) That portion of Davison Road (County Road No. 4R400) from a point 0.37 miles (0.60 kilometers) west of State Highway 101 to its terminus, 3.65 miles (5.87 kilometers) west of State Highway 101. 414-2. Penalty. It shall be unlawful and an infraction for any person to drive a vehicle upon the portion of Davison Road (County Road No. 4R400) referred to in § 414-1 of this chapter in violation of the length and width limitations prescribed therein. Every person convicted of such infraction shall be punished upon first conviction by a fine not exceeding Fifty Dollars ($50.00), and for a second conviction within a period of one (1) year by a fine not exceeding One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), and for a third or any subsequent conviction within said period of one (1) year by a fine not exceeding Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00). (Ord. 832, § 2, 3/14/1972) 414-3. Length and Width Restriction on South Dobbyn Creek Bridge on Zenia Bluff Road. Pursuant to § 21101(c) of the Vehicle Code of the State of California, no vehicle or combination of vehicles having a body width greater than eight (8) feet and a body length greater than thirty-two (32) feet kingpin to rear axle, except road maintenance vehicles and emergency vehicles, shall be allowed to use the South Dobbyn Creek Bridge (County Bridge No. 04C0064) on Zenia Bluff Road (County Road No. F8C090). (Ord. 2552, § 1, 6/14/2016) 414-4. Penalty. It shall be unlawful and a misdemeanor for any person to drive a vehicle across South Dobbyn Creek Bridge (County Bridge No. 04C0064) referred to in Section 414-3 in violation of the length and width limitations prescribed therein. Every person convicted of such misdemeanor shall be punished by a fine not exceeding ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00) and/or imprisonment for a term not exceeding six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
