2.20.010 - Authorized—Duties.¶
There is authorized a public works department, which shall have control of the construction, operation, and maintenance of the town's municipal systems and facilities, including, but not necessarily limited to, water, streets, and sewer, now or hereafter owned and/or operated by the town.

2.20.020 - Regulation—Council authority.¶
The public works department shall be governed by such rules and regulations as may be fixed and established from time to time by the city council.

2.20.030 - Public works director.¶
There shall be a public works director who shall be appointed by and under the general control and supervision of the city manager.

2.20.040 - Water fund.¶
The director of finance shall keep the water fund separate from other municipal funds. The books of the water fund shall be kept in accordance with the state regulations governing the accounting of public utilities, and a report in detail shall be made monthly to the city council.
