5-21.201 - Building Codes.

The Fowler Building Code shall mean the current versions of the California Building, Fire, Housing, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, and related codes, as well as the Uniform Administrative Code and Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, as incorporated by reference in this Code with local amendments, except that the procedures for abatement, conducting appeals, and cost recovery shall be those set forth in Chapters 22 and 23.

5-21.202 - Dangerous Buildings.

As set forth in Title 8, Chapter 9 of this Code, the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings shall apply to the determination of whether a building is dangerous except that the procedures for abatement, conducting appeals, and cost recovery shall be those set forth in Chapters 28 and 29.

Violations of the Fowler Building Code are considered nuisances.
