5-9.01 - Loitering.¶
It shall be a misdemeanor for any person, who is not a student of the school involved, to return to any school grounds, school buildings, or streets, sidewalks, or public ways adjacent thereto within a period of ninety (90) days if the person has been asked during school hours or during school functions to leave the school grounds, school buildings, or streets, sidewalks, or public ways adjacent thereto by the Chief Administrative Officer of such school, or by any certified school employee designated as the agent of such Chief Administrative Officer, for any of the following reasons:
(a) Misconduct on or about any school grounds, school buildings, or streets, sidewalks, or public ways adjacent to such school;
(b) The conviction of any offense requiring registration pursuant to the provisions of Section 290 of the Penal Code of the State;
(c) The conviction of any offense included in Division 10 or Division 10.5 of the Health and Safety Code of the State; or
(d) Repeated and/or frequent loitering in or about the school grounds, school buildings, or streets, sidewalks, or public ways adjacent to such school.
