The specific regulations set forth in this chapter shall apply in all OSC districts. (Ord. 38 § 1 (part), 1972: prior code § 10404.121)

17.34.020 Permitted uses.

The following uses shall be permitted in the OSC districts:

  • A. Agricultural crops;

  • B. Wildlife sanctuaries (no structures);

  • C. Open space areas to be preserved from building or set aside for general public use;

  • D. Water-oriented use or boating where land is submerged;

  • E. Public parks. (Ord. 38 § 1 (part), 1972: prior code § 10-404.122)

17.34.030 Conditional uses.

The following shall be permitted only when authorized by a conditional use permit issued in accordance with Chapter 17.72:

  • A. Public structures and facilities;

  • B. Buildings, sheds or structures necessary to the maintenance of the land;

  • C. Electrical or utility distributions lines or systems; D. Public or private recreational uses or structures;

  • E. Other uses which, in the opinion of the planning director, are compatible with the intent of the OSC district. (Ord. 38

17.34.040 Prohibited uses.

The following uses or activities are expressly prohibited in the OSC district:

  • A. The fill of water or marsh areas with the intent of creating buildable sites;

  • B. Dumping or discarding of waste products. (Ord. 38 § 1 (part), 1972: prior code § 10-404.124)

17.34.050 Area, bulk, yard and height regulations.

Restrictions relative to the area, bulk, yard and height of any structure in the OSC district shall be established in the use permit required for that structure. (Ord. 38 § 1 (part), 1972: prior code § 10-404.125)

17.34.060 Parking.

Automobile parking shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 17.62. (Ord. 38 § 1 (part), 1972: prior code § 10-404.126)
