15.60.010 - Sound amplifying equipment defined.

"Sound amplifying equipment" means any radio, sound system, machine or device used or intended to be used for the amplification of the human voice, music, or any other sound.

15.60.020 - Loud operation.

Any person who operates or causes to be operated any sound amplifying equipment loudly, boisterously or raucously, where such operation interferes or is likely to interfere with the peace of the neighborhood, is guilty of an infraction; provided, that this section shall not apply to persons who possess a license or permit, or who have special approval of the city council, authorizing the temporary use of sound amplifying equipment.
