Sec. 8.84.510. - Purpose.

The purpose of this article is to provide for the transportation of nonresidents of the County to their place of residence.

Sec. 8.84.520. - Verification of residence.

Persons who apply for assistance under the provisions of this chapter who are determined by the Agency to be nonresidents of the County shall have their place of residence verified if it is administratively feasible to do so.

Sec. 8.84.530. - Transportation of nonresidents.

Persons determined to be nonresidents of the County shall, upon their request, be provided with transportation to their place of residence or place of certified employment. An allowance for transportation shall be provided by means of vendor payment. The allowance shall be limited to the lowest cost means of transportation available. An allowance for food may also be provided if the travel time will exceed six hours.

Sec. 8.84.540. - Article compliance.

Any person who refuses to cooperate with the Agency in verifying their place of residence or place of employment shall be ineligible to receive assistance under the program penalties provisions of Article VIII of this chapter.
