Sec. 8.85.010. - Establishment.¶
There shall be established and maintained elementary and secondary public schools in the County juvenile hall for the education of the children in the juvenile hall. The schools shall be maintained and financed by the County Superintendent of Schools.

Sec. 8.85.020. - Board of Education authority.¶
The County Board of Education shall have the same powers and duties with respect to the schools as the governing board of a school district would have were the schools maintained by the school district under the provisions of Division 2, Chapter 2, Article 11 of the Welfare and Institutions Code (Welfare and Institutions Code § 775 et seq.).
